Sales Operations Manager

The Opportunity
We are supporting a global renewable energy technology organisation as they expand their Sales Operations function to strengthen early-stage project development and commercial decision-making. This is a new headcount created to support rapid growth across international markets. This role sits within the sales support and operations function, focusing on market intelligence, project pipeline management, and pre-sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to provide actionable insights for sales strategy and planning.
- Collect, consolidate, and maintain visibility of the global project pipeline, assessing project maturity, priority, and commercial relevance.
- Support early-stage pre-sales activities, ensuring alignment between market opportunity, internal capability, and strategic focus.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to coordinate cross-functional efforts and support sales growth.
- Track sales performance and market developments, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting strategy adjustments.
- Maintain effective internal stakeholder relationships across regions to support structured sales operations and decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; Business Administration, Marketing, or related disciplines preferred.
- Prior experience in sales, sales operations, or commercial support roles, ideally within international or overseas markets.
- Strong analytical and market intelligence capabilities, with the ability to translate data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with proven ability to work across functions and regions.
- Mandarin fluency is essential, due to Mandarin-speaking stakeholder interaction and internal process requirements.
- Experience within renewable energy, infrastructure, or complex industrial sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
