Financing

At Spencer Ogden we cover roles across the full project lifecycle. Starting at Financing, our Finance team specialises in placing candidates across; Private Equity, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, and Developer’s Investment’s teams into the following groups:

Investment: Credit, M&A, Project Finance, Energy Transition, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Digital Infrastructure.

Corporate Finance: FP&A, Accounting, Legal, Policy & Compliance, Portfolio Finance/ Asset Management.

Project Development

We cover all departments in Project Development: Finance, Planning, Acquisition, Development, Construction, Engineering and Project Controls. We are experienced in finding candidates with rare capabilities in highly competitive or difficult to source locations.

Design Engineering

Focusing on the design, development and implementation of large scale projects we cover roles across the full function from: site assessment, system design, equipment selection, project management and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Construction

The build stage includes site preparation, equipment installation and infrastructure development. We can assist with roles from construction planning, project management, site mobilisation and quality control.

Commissioning

The commissioning stage involves system testing, performance optimisation, and ensuring operational readiness. Our team can support various roles during commissioning, including testing coordination, equipment integration, system validation, and performance verification.

Operations & Maintenance

Once a project is built, commissioned, and generating revenue as an asset, we cover roles across Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance.

The Global Energy Transition

In a landmark moment for the global energy transition, the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) agreed to transition away from fossil fuels, triple renewable power and double energy efficiency by 2030.

The right talent with the right skills will be key to the energy transition. Spencer Ogden set the standard; we were the first recruitment business to focus on the renewables sector which accounts for over 70% of our business.
