Job Description:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer IV, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components
- Lead project teams and provide technical guidance
- Perform engineering analysis and calculations
- Create detailed drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors
- Conduct testing and validation of designs
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical design
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and materials
- Experience with FEA and other engineering analysis tools
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
