Job Description:

The Health & Safety Specialist III will be responsible for overseeing and implementing health and safety programs within the organization. This role will involve developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to employees on safety protocols. The Specialist will also investigate incidents and accidents, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant health and safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing safety programs
• Certification in health and safety (e.g. CSP, CIH) preferred
