What You’ll Do:
- Lead the design and development of FACTS and HVDC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with customer specifications.
- Conduct and oversee power system studies, protection and control design, and equipment rating calculations.
- Plan and execute factory and site commissioning tests, providing real-time solutions for installation and testing challenges.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project teams to drive technical excellence and innovation.
- Support new product development, cost reduction initiatives, and our global power electronics advancements.
What You’ll Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in FACTS or HVDC system engineering with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Electronics Engineering.
- Expertise in power electronics, substation equipment, and electrical transmission systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced knowledge of harmonic filtering, system protection, and feedback control.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, power system simulation software, and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to train and mentor teams, support technical proposals, and drive collaboration across divisions.
