Position Overview
A leading industrial engineering company in Poland is seeking a skilled Piping Designer to support ongoing projects in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong 3D modeling experience and a collaborative approach to design and documentation.
Key Requirements
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) – essential
Engineering or design-related qualification (mechanical, piping, or related discipline)
Experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments
Responsibilities
Develop accurate 3D models of piping systems using SmartPlant 3D
Prepare comprehensive pipeline studies and associated technical documentation
Produce detailed design drawings, including sections, projections, and equipment layouts using SmartSketch
Generate isometric drawings using SmartPlant
Create Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
Provide load transfer design input for coordination with Civil and Structural teams
Review and comment on supplier documentation and technical submissions
Participate actively in model reviews and coordination meetings
Collaborate effectively with other disciplines (e.g., mechanical, civil, process)
Estimate and monitor man-hour requirements for assigned scope of work
Attend an initial onboarding and training period (1–3 months) in-office
Ideal Candidate Profile
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while integrating well within a project team
Previous experience in industrial or chemical plant projects is a strong advantage
