Head – Organic Fertilizer Exports

Job Purpose:

The Head – Organic Fertilizer Exports will lead and expand international exports of fermented organic manure and customized organic fertilizers by developing region-specific product formulations and building extensive global distribution networks. This role is responsible for driving export volume growth across diverse markets while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and optimizing supply chain efficiency for reliable, cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead global exports of fermented organic manure (FOM) and related organic fertilizer products, focusing on market expansion and revenue growth.
• Develop and implement region-specific fertilizer formulations tailored to local agronomic needs, such as lime-enriched products for low pH soils in Central & East Africa, humic-enriched fertilizers for the MENA region, and NPK-enhanced organic blends for broader applications.
• Build and strengthen B2B and B2C distribution channels by securing contracts with fertilizer companies, government entities, and distributors across key global markets including Central/East Africa, MENA, LATAM, Europe, and SEA.
• Ensure full compliance with international export regulations, customs clearance, and organic certifications (e.g., Ecocert) to facilitate smooth and lawful market access.
• Optimize global supply chain and logistics operations to ensure cost-effective, timely, and reliable delivery of products to diverse markets.
• Drive sustainable export growth aiming to scale volumes to multi-million tonnes over the medium term, supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

Ideal Background:

• Proven experience in global fertilizer exports, especially in organic or specialty fertilizers.
• Strong understanding of regional agronomic requirements and ability to develop market-specific formulations.
• Expertise with international trade compliance, certifications, and global SCM.
• Demonstrated success in building and managing large-scale global distribution networks and partnerships.
