Job Description:
As an EHS Advisor based in Kent, United Kingdom, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) within the organization. You will work closely with senior management to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, as well as implementing best practices to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
- Provide training and support to employees on EHS matters
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar EHS role
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant EHS qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH)
