Job Description:
We are seeking a Construction Manager based in Texas to oversee and manage construction projects with a focus on substation construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, having built multiple utility scale substations, and will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Oversee and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and project managers
- Prepare and present progress reports and updates to senior management
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in the Utility Scale Substation
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Knowledge of renewable energy interconnection is a plus
