Job Description:
The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services for the organization. They will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products at the best possible price.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Monitor market trends and pricing
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and goods
- Manage inventory levels to meet demand
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
