Senior Structural Analysis Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering professional to support advanced analysis activities on large-scale energy infrastructure projects. The role requires expertise in seismic engineering, finite element methods, and structural design. The successful candidate will work on high-impact projects in a dynamic team environment, applying engineering expertise to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis of concrete and steel structures using finite element methods.

• Conduct seismic and static evaluations, preparing detailed models and technical documentation.

• Work with industry codes and standards to ensure compliance (examples may include ASCE, ACI, IBC, AISC, etc.).

• Apply engineering judgment to solve complex design and analysis challenges.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support project milestones and technical reviews.

• Ensure all work aligns with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.


Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in seismic structural analysis.

• Hands-on expertise with ANSYS APDL (modeling, static/seismic runs, post-processing).

• Experience with LS-Dyna preferred.

• Familiarity with programming tools (e.g., MATLAB or Python) a plus.

• Proficiency in concrete, steel, and composite structural design and analysis.

• Professional Engineering certification (P.E. in the U.S. or P.Eng. in Canada) preferred.
