Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Nuclear Division
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading energy management company’s nuclear division. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in electrical design within the nuclear industry, specifically focused on low voltage (LV) distribution systems and associated infrastructure components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and validate detailed electrical design drawings and schematics using design software tools including AutoCAD, E-plan, and SEE Electrical.
- Design and oversee layouts for LV distribution systems, ensuring compliance with nuclear industry standards and safety regulations.
- Work on systematic rotors, cable trays, and related electrical infrastructure, ensuring integration with overall plant design.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support design, construction, and commissioning phases of nuclear projects.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, revision control, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Support troubleshooting and modifications in existing systems as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adherence to strict nuclear security protocols.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design engineering, preferably within the nuclear sector.
- Proficient in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, E-plan, SEE Electrical, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical distribution systems and components.
- Experience designing cable trays, systematic rotors, and related electrical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with nuclear industry standards, codes, and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work remotely with occasional on-site presence in Aix-En-Provence.
- Fluency in French and English is highly desirable.
