Job Description:
Spencer Ogden is seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to take on a technical leadership role within an innovative and rapidly growing water resources engineering firm in the Central Valley. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and team-oriented group with offices throughout California. The role offers flexibility in work arrangements and scheduling, based out of our Fresno office. We are engaged in several key projects with local cities, counties, and water districts and are looking to expand our team to support the communities across the Central Valley.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our projects, taking on responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
- Designing water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Preparing engineering calculations and reports.
- Managing projects and clients.
- Engaging in business development activities.
- Conducting site visits and coordinating with clients and staff.
- Developing planning and alternatives analysis studies.
- Providing program and construction management support.
- Reviewing and developing environmental compliance and permitting strategies.
You will have the opportunity to manage projects from proposal through completion, while also contributing to marketing efforts, business management, staff development, and strategic growth.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of seven years in the design of water/wastewater/recycled water transmission, pumping, storage, and/or treatment facilities.
- Certification: Civil or Mechanical P.E. registration in California is required.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office is required. Experience with AutoCAD, InfoWorks, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, BioWIN, and other hydraulic modeling programs is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong ability to work in a team environment on diverse engineering design projects across California.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $130,000 to $160,000, based on experience and qualifications.
