Project Manager – Land Development
Location: Irvine, California
Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Manager specializing in Land Development. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, motivated to do more, and can work well independently and on a team. Our civil engineers are known for their strong technical design skills and being well-versed in all phases of land development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve success of profit center through management of and participation in team design, production, quality, training, and employee performance.
- Represent the firm in meetings with clients, determine Scope of Work, prepare fees, conduct site investigations, establish schedules, prepare proposal materials, review with Principal or other Project Manager, and finalize proposals.
- Participate in business development for prospective clients and maintain ongoing relations with current clients.
- Manage up to two Project Managers who supervise a total of 4 to 8 employees within the Engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and team-building skills, with the ability to manage a land development project from start to finish (entitlements through construction support).
- Certification: PE certification required.

- PM Salary Range: $120 to 145k
