Job Description:
As a Project Controls Specialist 2 (Cost), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the cost control aspects of various projects. You will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets
- Track and report project costs, including actual expenditures and forecasts
- Identify cost trends and potential cost overruns
- Analyze project financial data and provide recommendations for cost savings
- Collaborate with project teams to develop cost control strategies
- Prepare cost reports and presentations for project stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project controls or cost management
- Proficiency in cost estimating and budgeting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
