Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Controls (Cost) Specialist to join our team in Charlotte. As a senior member of the project controls team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all cost-related aspects of our projects. This role requires a strong background in project controls, cost estimation, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project cost estimates and budgets
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders
- Analyze project financial data and provide insights to project teams
- Ensure compliance with project cost control procedures and guidelines
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project controls, cost estimation, or related field
- Proficiency in cost control software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
