Hydrogen Technical Solutions Director – Korea
We are seeking a seasoned Hydrogen Technical Solutions Director to lead the design, strategy, and delivery of hydrogen production, storage, and utilization projects within a dynamic hydrogen division. This role focuses on advancing cutting-edge hydrogen technologies aligned with Korea’s energy transition and clean energy ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction and execution of hydrogen projects, covering green hydrogen production, storage, transport, and fuel cell applications.
- Develop and implement scalable hydrogen solutions tailored to industrial, mobility, and power generation sectors.
- Manage technical feasibility studies, system optimization, and risk analysis for hydrogen infrastructure and technology deployments.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, regulatory, and business teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Engage with Korean government bodies, industry partners, and research institutions to align projects with national hydrogen strategies and regulatory frameworks.
- Drive innovation by monitoring global hydrogen technology trends, standards, and emerging markets.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical specialists to foster expertise and high-quality outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects meet local compliance, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering, or related fields; PhD advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in hydrogen technologies or adjacent clean energy sectors, with at least 5 years in technical leadership.
- Expertise in hydrogen production (electrolysis, reforming), storage technologies, and distribution networks.
- Familiarity with Korea’s energy landscape, regulatory environment, and hydrogen policy initiatives preferred.
- Proven success delivering complex, large-scale hydrogen projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, adept at stakeholder management in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in Korean and English.
- Location: Korea (Seoul preferred)
