Job Title: Harbour Site Supervisor – Offshore Wind Harbour Project


Duration: ASAP – 31 December 2026 (with possible extension into 2027)

Location: Gda?sk, Poland

Work Pattern: Monday – Friday (potential move to 2-week rotations in 2026)


Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced Harbour Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations and safety management at a major offshore wind project site in Gda?sk. The role is responsible for ensuring all harbour-based construction, logistics, and maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company and local HSE regulations.


You will play a key role in coordinating site operations, maintaining equipment and PPE records, liaising with contractors and port authorities, and supporting the Construction Management and HSE teams.


Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Operations


Oversee all harbour site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.


Authorise and coordinate all crane and forklift operations.


Manage consumables, tools, and general stock for the construction site.


Supervise daily housekeeping, site upkeep, and facility maintenance.


Liaise with port authorities, waste management contractors, site security, and shipyard personnel.


Safety & Compliance


Support the HSE department on harbour-specific safety issues.


Maintain accurate records of PPE, climbing gear, and safety equipment, including calibration and certification.


Manage quarantined areas for damaged tools or PPE.


Conduct regular safety inspections (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual).


Monitor and record site utilities (electricity, water usage).


Ensure compliance with BHP and Polish occupational health regulations.


Administration & Reporting


Maintain documentation: PPE records, storage logs, certification reports, and safety checklists.


Generate purchase proposals for new PPE, tools, and supplies.


Support construction management with ad hoc administrative or operational tasks.


Be available for occasional call-out duties outside normal working hours.


Qualifications & Experience


Education:


Relevant technical or craft-based background preferred (e.g. Storage Keeper, Craftsman, or equivalent).


Experience:


3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within construction, logistics, or harbour operations.


Experience managing safety and calibration processes, including tool quarantine management.


Prior work within the wind or renewable energy industry is an advantage.


Certifications:


Valid Polish occupational health certificate (badania medycyny pracy) – referral will be provided.


Valid BHP certification (or willingness to complete prior to assignment start).


Forklift operator licence preferred.


Language:


Fluent in Polish (written and spoken); English proficiency required for communication with international stakeholders.


Locality:


Preference for candidates based in or near Gda?sk.


Equipment & Security Requirements


Consultant must bring their own PC and/or iPhone.


All devices must be updated with the latest operating system and allow installation of the company’s mobile device management (MDM) security software.


Consultants must grant permission for the company to manage, secure, or remove company-related apps and data when required (e.g., at end of contract or if a device is lost/stolen).


Additional Information


PPE will be provided by the company; consultants must supply their own safety boots.


Contract may be extended twice by six months (potentially through 2027).


UK-based candidates will not be considered for this role.
