End-of-Year Message from our CEO

With the end of 2024 upon us, we take a moment to appreciate what we have built and won together this year. We entered 2024 fully committed to our corporate purpose – Creating Careers to Power a Sustainable Future. 2024 was a year of change and transition for many as we collaborated with our clients and our internal Spencer Ogden team responding to fluctuating energy needs across our core markets.  

 
As we enter 2025, I am truly excited for the year ahead. While the global market may face some challenges, the ongoing transformation in the energy sector presents significant opportunities. We predict a demand for clean and reliable energy, and we must remain agile to meet the needs of our clients and stay ahead of the AI and data center boom. This will be a key trend over the next couple of years as we see tech leaders already seeking to expand their digital infrastructure in a sustainable way, connecting data centers directly to renewable energy sources to improve reliability for energy customers. With our focus on clean, sustainable energy sources, we are well-positioned to continue our success as we partner on the energy transition.  

 
At Spencer Ogden, we are partnering with you on this transition as we go through it together. Global energy needs mean we will still see the ongoing use of oil and gas while being cognizant of the need to move towards sustainability. Next year also brings further political changes, so we are here to support our clients’ needs as these play out.  

 
As we close out 2024, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and want to extend this to each of you – our clients, candidates, and Spencer Ogden team. Our purpose is to be steadfast and together we build stronger connections and brighter futures for everyone we serve, igniting careers that make a difference.  

 
I hope you all enjoy a well-deserved break over the holidays, surrounded by your loved ones. I am excited for what 2025 will bring and look forward to another year of success, growth, and making an impact.
